Amidst the Busy-ness of it all...

You're probably wondering... Where has this girl gone off to and.. where are the BLOG POSTS?! :))
Well, to tell you the truth, I've been busy this last couple of months due to a) work (office slave!) and b) wardrobe make over. Yup. heard it right: WARDROBE MAKE OVER
Yes, this little beauty junky here, is also a fashionista at heart (read: PASHOWNEESTUH. haha.)
And yes, lately I've been gathering of sweet pieces from here and there and so, as to incorporate and launch the dynamic duo (namely: beauty and fashion), I will now blog about one thing that I always have and always will love: FASHION.
Don't worry my beauty geeks, I will still feature the my MAKE-UP look and what I used.
It'll still be ROXY, plus with a whole lot of ghetto. :))

Will post more updates soon loves! :D

Makeup Workshop with Le Faerie Cosmetics

Last Sunday, me and my "twin" sister, Blessie, went to Eastwood City Palazzo to attend Ms. Bee's makeup workshop and boy, what happy kids we are! XD Once the session started, we are like wild childs let loose on a colourful playground! XD I'm glad I attended this workshop, not only are my "YouTube" presumptions are wrong, I also had a proper training on beauty makeup. :D

Bless and I, munching on our Kenny Roger Solos. :D (Right before the Workshop.)
Honestly, do we really look alike? n_n'

Now, about our Guru: Ms. Bee Lu is a Maquillage-trained Professional Makeup Artist. (ooooh, i wanna be like her someday) and the Workshop focused on one theme: Smokey-Eye Makeup. :D
We sat there for like seven hours, learning about the basics of makeup applying: from a blemish-free coverage to the classic black smokey- eye make-up. :D Another reason why I attended this workshop is so that I would OFFICIALLY know what my face Shape is and what my Colour tone really is. n_n' Turns out, I have an Elongated-Oval face with high cheek-bones, and I'm of a warm-undertone. Ms. Bee even helped me mixed the right foundation for me. :D
When it was time for the Contouring-your-face part, I had a hard time applying mine. n_n' Personally, I thought there was a battle between High-lighting and Contouring, and High-lighting has won me over. Because I think contouring makes me look like I have that madungis effect on my face. n_n' Turns out, the two needs to work together. In the end though I've mastered the skill gracefully and I looked like a different person- a model face, rather. :D

Coverage: DONE! Up next: SMOKEY-EYES. :D

Tadaaa! Our finished Look. :D
I'm wearing the smokey-blue colour (lol. i'm biased.) and Bless is wearing the smokey-purple colour. Hers looks so wearable in day-time, while mine's for party-ing. :D

Our Workshop comes with free use of brushes and makeup, merienda (we had Pizza! yum!) and freebies worth 1k! :D For more details and cosmetics, please visit Le Faerie Cosmetics' facebook webpage.

I'm definitely going back for more training. :)

NYX Haul no. 1! XD

NYX Round Lipstick in LOUISIANA & ELECTRA and
        NYX Eye Pencil in SAPPHIRE

Stuffs that I purchased in Samsville's shop. :D (I love that they have almost every colour that I want. And one of the online sellers that gives a fair price for NYX products. :D)

First up are my Round Lipsticks:
The first time I saw ELECTRA was back when me and my beau are looking around Eastwood's usual Sunday bazaar. One of the stalls there are selling NYX product and 'twas my actual first encounter with NYX. (I've been really curious about NYX since most of the make-up gurus that I watch on YouTube uses this like... counteless times?) So I got really excited, quickly scanned through the merchandise and fell INSTANTLY in-love with this shade. :D Unfortunately though, they're out-of-stock with this colour and opted for the Snow White instead (I'll do a review soon. :D)  Still, as soon as I saw this on Samsville's online shop, I quickly ordered for it not even looking at the picture for I know this is the one, THIS IS IT! XD.

I love how this colour reminds me of Christina Aguillera's lips in Burlesque. It's so Vintage!
It has that bright undertone and is perfect for those with warm/neutral skin tones. Plus! It makes my teeth whiter too! ;D

Now about LOUISIANA, I'm not really a Pink-lipstick fan (little is the chance that Pink matches my skin tone. n_n') but since I've read many blog articles and reviews about this one, I got curious. Well for 130 bucks a pop, why won't I try it, right? :D Turns out, it MATCHED my tone PERFECTLY! XD A good deal for my very first Pink lipstick.

See? It gives me that dewy-lips feel. Perfect to go with an everyday look. I HIGHLY recommend it for those who are looking for a fresh-looking lipstick and who are afraid to try on a pink colour (like me. n_n)

SWATCHES!
From Right-Left: WITHOUT flash and WITH flash.

Up next is my SAPPHIRE eye liner.

Ok now this is a colour that I'm fond of: BLUE. Moreso when I saw this shade. XD
Now you'd pro'ly think that It'd look too avant-garde on naked eye-alone. But in my case, nothing is too eccentric. :D

For it goes well with my Contact Lens! lol. XD
The only con I see in this eye-liner is that it SMUDGES quickly. I slid it on my lower lashline, and after 30 minutes it starts to smudge. Well if you have a liquid eye-primer. that would pro'ly solve its case. n_n'
Overall i love this eye-liner! Not only that it goes in my fave colour, it also made my eyes bigger and literally an eye-catcher. :D

How about you? What colour makes your face pop and glow? :D
'Til the next review everyone! Toodles!

Another Make-Up Junkie on the Rise

Finally, I get to have a chance (and time) to build up my courage and write my own beauty blog. Yey! :D I would like to thank other make-up gurus out there who gave me an idea for making one so whoop-dee-doo!
Through these past years I find it hard trying to maintain a personal blog. Yeah, I've been there done that (heck, I even had two personal blog accounts here in blogger and unfortunately, its outdated). But because my love for Beauty and Make-up are just like an intense emotion waiting to explode (plus, I have tons of STUFF that I wanted to share to everybody and make good reviews), I now have this beauty blog.
I will try my best to update as soon as I have free time (and a whole lot of stuff) because now its not about basking in my self-musings anymore. Its about sharing thoughts and giving other girls out there ideas about Make-Up, what is it, where to find it and best of all, my quest to scour the ends of locally available, high-quality-branded make-up without having to splurge like hell.

In short, this blog is all about getting the right stuff for your very own canvass, without that guilty-feeling of spending tons of your hard-earned moolah. ;) Have a pleasant day and stay tuned! :D
